Flyers are leads, not automatic authority. Current official sources were preferred when a flyer and a live source differed. Project LEAP remains the clearest earlier example: the supplied flyer showed a larger award, while current Intertribal Agriculture Council material says the 2026 award is $500.
New September 10 source checks: Sacred Visions was matched to the City of Fernley’s current event notice; California Indian Day was matched to Konocti Vista Casino’s current event page; IITC’s October 12 event was matched to IITC and the official Alcatraz ticket provider. The Alcatraz departure schedules are not identical, so readers are directed to recheck the ticket provider before travel.
Pardon notice: a supplied Redding Rancheria notice describes a Native-focused pardon initiative, but a separate Native-specific process was not located on the Governor’s current pardon page during this check. The current state mailing instructions also differ from the address printed on the flyer. The board therefore links the current Governor’s Office process and does not present the flyer’s submission address as controlling.
