The October 16 briefing checks seven priority issues. Older findings remain useful history but should not be mistaken for a newly verified status.
Dates, sources and what remains unknown
The Watch Desk now carries final 2026 Tribal-bill outcomes and Fountain Wind denial, the amended Pit River Land Transfer Act status, post-Barbara litigation, and dated additions for the Mt. Shasta site inquiry, Sáttítla water sampling, and food-resilience funding. This later status layer supersedes stale stages in earlier snapshots but does not update unrelated unverified tracks.

- A deadline, meeting date, hearing, comment window, or action step changes.
- A correction is submitted with a public source or document that changes the report.
- A community concern needs to be reframed as a question brief rather than treated as a fact.

The Watch List should not publish private accusations, private health information, family conflict, protected cultural knowledge, or rumors about private people. Sensitive issues should be handled through public sources, resource guides, service gaps, prevention, safety, and repair.
