Method · From coherence to answerability

The Audit

A governed protocol for important claims that carry the argument in human and LLM-assisted reasoning.

Read the status before treating a working document as final. Each overview states purpose, limits, and relationship to the larger body of work.

Central claim

Coherence is necessary but insufficient; responsible assertion must also answer to evidence, authority, affected people, limits, origin, consequences, and correction.

Use this work when

Use The Audit before publishing or relying on claims whose failure would materially affect people, policy, interpretation, or institutional action.

Boundary and status

An audit cannot create missing authority, access protected knowledge, replace expertise, or turn an unavailable public record into a complete one.
