The return is the path of carrying what still asks to be carried.

The Long Return is a practice of carrying relationship, memory, and responsibility forward. It asks what needs care, repair, remembrance, or practical attention so continuity can be lived rather than merely described.

This is independent civic work by Christopher Knorr, not an official Pit River Tribe publication or institutional notice. Cultural authority and protected knowledge remain with the people and communities responsible for them.
